If you are a devotee of Hermes or Mercury, this makes a nice ritual piece. 
This is a unique piece.  The pendant is ornate and houses a Mercury Dime. I am not sure what the pendant is made of.  I could not find a stamp. It is very hard metal. It well may be silver.

I purchased the pendant in an antique store on one of my many adventures.

The pendant is 1 -1/2' diameter and the sterling silver chain is 20 inches long and a rolo link.

Interesting and unique sterling silver pin.
I am not sure I can make out what the pin is all about. It looks very folkloric.
The pin on the back is very rustic which at first I dated it by. But then upon seeing "Guatemala" engraved below pin on back, I then thought it is rustic perhaps because the artisan may have had rustic tools.  
I am feeling that it is one-of-a-kind.

This is an unusual piece.  The pendant is a diamond shaped silver colored with a raised floral filigree. The red stone is synthetic. Nice stone. Around the stone on the front is a raised ring with the zodiac glyphs in gold on it. I am not sure what type of metal it is. It is solid however, not flimsy.  It measures 2 inches x 2 inches.  On the back is a curiosity. A small metal disk that fits on the back of the stone.  It is engraved with a relief of Mont St Michel, France and these same words. It is strange.
It came with the 24 inch silver colored chain. 
And I purchased it where....an antique shop.
