The veneration of ancestral spirits is one of the most ancient practices for honoring the wisdom of those who came before. In Etruscan religion the ancestral spirit and the Spirits of Nature were seen as one and the same. Shrines of this nature were used as a focal point to communicate with the “spirit” realm and faery realm. This ancestral shrine is the same one seen in Raven Grimassi’s “Hereditary Witchcraft” where he discusses “the Lare”. Hand finished and exclusively crafted for Raven’s Loft. This beautiful shrine measures 7.5" x 15" and is finely detailed in plaster, and the ledge measures approx. 4" deep. It’s just waiting for your personal touch!
