This athame is handmade by Govanna, Elder in the Craft of the Wise, from the finest high carbon cutler's steel, solid metal, no plating. Each is made one at a time, hand ground and finished without the use of jigs, lathes, or other production methods and this is evident in the beauty and craftsmanship of each athame . The handle is crafted from local and exotic hardwood and expertly finished.
This very masculine and solar athame’s blade is 6” long with a double edge and the handle is textured and mimics antler and is 5” long . The hilt is forged into the shape of horns and is brass. On the end cap is a brass solar hammered disk.
