Pomegrantes are associated with the Goddess of the Underworld, Persephone. She descends into the Underworld only to reappear again and brings life back to the material plane. This pomegranate wood is symbolic of the ascent into and descent back from the Underworld and carries the imprint of death and rebirth which makes it purposeful in healing, oracle and working with cycles. Our wood wands were harvested from trees in the grove of the past the site of the College of the Crossroads. They are bare wood waiting to be crafted and aligned by you into a tool of the Old Ways. Most measure 18" to 20" long which should suit the traditional requirements.
