Introducing our "new" design of our traditional sterling silver 2-sided Cimaruta talisman, also known as the "Witches’ Charm". It was designed by artist Maxine Miller as part of a collection known as The Crossroads Collection, inspired by Raven Grimassi and Stephanie Taylor-Grimassi
The word ‘cimaruta" means "a sprig of rue” and in olde times identified the wearer as a member of the Society of Diana, Queen of the Witches. The cimaruta bears the following symbols. Rooster-Head - dispels the forces of darkness Dagger - the arrow of Diana Crescent Moon - occult forces Serpent - cunning and wisdom Key - knowledge Vervain Blossom - protection (five pointed petals) To wear this talisman is to embrace the Old Religion of Pre-Christian Europe. Through the essence of the cimaruta, you align yourself with the Witches of Olde, carrying on a tradition kept for countless generations. Comes boxed on a black cord , satin bag, and romance card. Measures 2-1/4" long from top of bail x 1-1-/2" at widest point.
