In old tradition the Witch’s familiar is prominently featured.  The idea of a familiar spirit is that it is an ally in the Witch’s magical arts.  Among the most popular of the Witch’s familiar is the cat, and especially a black cat.  Some familiars were physical cats and others were cat-like spirits.

Our Witch’s familiar is handmade  from papier-mâché, painted.  The cat is hollow so that herbs, an oil, and activation charm can be placed inside.
